La chorégraphie syncrétique de Noureev porte en elle toutes les inspirations originelles, réelles ou supposées, depuis la création de l'ouvrage.

Pour la reprise de ce ballet romantique emblématique, le danseur étoile se distingue dans le rôle du Prince Siegfried. Le corps de ballet féminin réalise également une performance enthousiasmante.

La rentrée sous contraintes du Ballet de l'Opéra de Paris met en avant les chorégraphies difficiles et géniales de Rudolf Noureev, généralement très bien menées par les danseurs de la compagnie.

Le Lac des Cygnes dans la chorégraphie de Rudolf Noureev est de retour à l’Opéra Bastille. Contrairement à la précédente production qui distribuait beaucoup de jeunes artistes, cette reprise est portée par des artistes plus confirmés, parmi lesquels s’illustrent tout particulièrement le sublime duo formé par Myriam Ould-Braham et Mathias Heymann.

De nouveau à l’affiche de l’Opéra de Paris, la chorégraphie de Rudolf Noureev d’après Marius Petipa et Lev Ivanov et sa merveilleuse musique de Piotr Ilitch Tchaïkovski, nous transportent dans l’univers onirique de l’imaginaire slave.

Ballet classique par excellence, Le Lac des Cygnes est notamment issu des légendes russes et nordiques, où des jeunes femmes sont transformées en cygnes par un sortilège. Cette soirée qui aurait pu atteindre la perfection si la direction musicale avait été plus fine et harmonieuse.

An interesting edit on tradition but the press night was marred by a number of on and off stage incidents and a lack of chemistry between the principals.

There is nothing quite comparable to an Odette/Odile debut (unless you’re a basketball fanatic, that is!) in Swan Lake. Well worth watching, and noting, SunMi Park’s progression through ABT.
