Artiste: Orchestre royal du Danemark

Une distribution vocale de très bon niveau, un orchestre en excellente forme, une mise en scène convaincante : la nouvelle production de l'opus mozartien à l'Opéra royal du Danemark est une réussite.

Si la direction musicale de Paolo Carignani, l'orchestre et les chœurs impressionnent, l'ensemble de la production est plombé par une mise en scène caricaturale, tandis que la distribution laisse une impression mitigée.

This was a concert made in heaven. To hear Per Nørgård's Iris, one of a triptych of symphonic poems composed in the late 1960s, eerie and mysterious, and underlain by the influences of Sibelius and Nørgård's teacher and fellow-symphonist, Vagn Holmboe, would make a rich and rewarding enough occasion in itself.
