Work: Brandenburg Concerto no. 6 in B flat major, BWV1051

A fascinating traversal of all six concertos in all their colourful variety given compelling performances by the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment at The Anvil. 

With the audience sitting on stage with the performers and in the choir loft, this feels like the kind of communal experience that Bach would have recognized.

With all soloists demonstrating charming ornamentation, a wonderful sense of fun and ease pervades the APO's performance.
