Daniel Harding takes charge of the gargantuan forces required to perform Mahler’s Second Symphony, a work of grand proportions that culminates in a glowing, transcendent choral finale.

With 'the largest possible contingent of strings', expanded wind and brass sections, an organ, church bells and a large group of musicians playing offstage, not to mention a full chorus and soloists, a performance of the work is always a spectacle. The sound is thrilling and joyous, the effect spine-tingling and the experience one to remember.
