The fourth edition of the festival marks the 800th anniversary of the founding of Klosters with a musical journey back in time. 

Every year the Munich Chamber Orchestra (MKO) give a living composer the opportunity to select an entire programme of their works and works by other composers that were important to them.

John Cage's unusual approach to composition is somewhat infamous. Thanks to his piano work 4'33" he's been firmly placed on the musical map as something of an oddball, and while that particular work may take his eccentric style to the extreme, the methods underlying his other works are equally intriguing.
