Dutch National Ballet's new production of La Bayadère does away with the ballet’s problematic gestures and movements, allowing the choreography to truly shine.

Les Ballets de Monte Carlo present Jean-Christophe Maillot’s elegant version of Romeo and Juliet in Madrid.

Bare sets and slick white screens set the stage for a clean, crisp and modern retelling of the Shakespeare-Prokofiev masterpiece. Northern Ballet’s performance of Jean-Christophe Maillot’s Romeo and Juliet is a reinvigorating take on the tragic love story.

Who needs a pumpkin carriage ride to transport you to the ball when you could surf celestial webs instead? Certainly not Prokofiev's Cinderella, if Alexei Ratmansky’s 2013 Australian Ballet production is anything to go by.

Jean-Christophe Maillot’s Roméo et Juliette strips Shakespeare’s classic story of embellishment and leaves a timeless emotional journey.

Elegance and wit are on ample display in Pär Isberg's new Pinocchio for Hong Kong Ballet, with a score by Respighi, arranged by maestro Benjamin Pope and vibrantly delivered by the Hong Kong Sinfonietta.
