A concert full of early 20th century Paris flair.
Paris was one of the most influential musical hot-beds of the 20th century. Composers came to work there just to keep abreast of the latest developments, such as Ravel's all-embracing comic operaL'Enfant et les Sortileges ('The Child and the Spells'), which embraces a dazzling range of styles from hints of the Orient and jazz to a stunning duo for two cats.
