Venue: Schubertiade Schwarzenberg, Angelika-Kauffmann-Saal

A Dvořák-Schubert double bill at this year’s celebrated Schubertiade featured a host of extraordinary artists in a tight and dynamic performance.

Lyric tenor Mauro Peter recently returned to the renowned Schubert festival to sing the demanding song cycle that many consider to be the pinnacle of Lied.

German soprano Julia Kleiter is among singers of unparalleled talents who are participating in this years “jubilee cycle” of Schubert songs at the renowned Schubertiade.

British lyric tenor Ian Bostridge presents an outstanding Schubert recital with his regular partner Julius Drake. 

Mercredi 26 août, dans l’Angelika-Kauffmann-Saal de Swarzenberg se poursuivait le Festival Schubertiade avec, à 16h, un liederabend par la jeune soprano Brenda Rae accompagnée de Wolfram Rieger au piano.

Un moment féerique comme le vie en offre peu !

Certainement ne manquait-il qu’une adhésion commune, une complicité partagée malgré les efforts et les tentatives des trois artistes. La magie n’était définitivement pas au rendez-vous cette après-midi…
