The ultimate celebration of Ludwig van Beethoven. Hear all nine symphonies in one weekend, introduced by broadcaster and Beethoven specialist John Suchet and performed by brilliant orchestras from across the UK. There’ll be a 21st-century take on the composer when s t a r g a z e present Beethoven NEIN! with Matthew Herbert; specially introduced sessions of Beethoven’s piano and instrumental music; talks, film and Level G events; plus the chance to hear Beethoven’s own violin and take a look at one of his ear trumpets in a Beethoven exhibition.
