To celebrate the centenary of Sir Edward Elgar's Cello Concerto we have asked some acclaimed cellists to share with us some of their personal memories connected to this masterpiece.
Le Victoria Hall a été l’écrin du violoncelle d’Andreas Brantelid, qui a éclairé d’un romantisme lumineux le concerto d’Elgar, sous la direction inspirante de Marko Letonja. On regrette que le reste de la soirée n’ait pas fait preuve du même équilibre.
