Danielle Gabou is in residence at the Théâtre National de Chaillot this week with Transe, a multi-faceted, ambiguous, and thought-provoking production. Julien Ficely’s choreography, for solo female dancer, draws inspiration from Jean Rouch’s 1956 film Mammy Water, and extracts of the documentary itself form the backdrop for this performance.

Chaillot présente un programme Preljocaj avec trois œuvres pour des duos issus du Ballet Preljocaj. Annonciation et Un trait d'union font un peu d'ombre au ballet le plus ancien, Larmes blanches.

Clou de la série de performances réunies sous le nom de « CabaretS », In absentia de François Chaignaud et Geoffroy Jourdain mêle les voix et les corps dans une transe irrésistible.

Destinée aux adolescents, la dernière création du chorégraphe espagnol met en scène les projections de l’enfance et ce moment où, en grandissant, l’imaginaire se sédimente pour donner forme à un réel qui advient.

Avec Un jour nouveau et Birthday Party, Rachid Ouramdane et Angelin Preljocaj signent un spectacle enjoué et créatif avec des danseurs de plus de 60 ans.
