Die Inszenierung überzeugt in einer Kombination von klassischer Ausstattung und moderner Focussierung auf die Psychologie der Figuren. Die musikalische Umsetzung ist exzellent. Tschaikowskis Oper wird zu einem packenden Seelendrama von Figuren, die in überkommenen Mustern verstrickt sind. 

Die Regisseurin Nilufar Münzing macht es in ihrer Karlsruher Inszenierung von Cosi fan tutte klar: Frauen wie Männer neigen gleichermaßen zur Untreue, was aber in diesem Fall dazu führt, dass sich dadurch erst die Richtigen finden. Gewisse Folgen werden aber lieber verschwiegen.

Jasmina Hadžiahmetovićs Inszenierung ist ein kritischer Gegenentwurf zur Monumentalität mancher Aida-Inszenierungen. Und doch ist eine packende Aufführung gelungen, die dem Werk szenisch wie musikalisch vollauf gerecht wird.
