Four very pictographic pieces: from early Puccini, through Dukas and Stravinsky to the present-day Spanish composer Francisco Coll. Neatly painted by the performers and with nothing to unduly scare the horses.

The world premiere of Frncisco Coll's Cuidad sin Senũo (City That Never Sleeps) proves intriguing at the Royal Festival Hall.

Hanslip continuó en el escenario con el concierto de Britten, para dar paso a otra obra llena también de desolación, la despedida sinfónica de Shostakovich.

El Cuarteto Casals propuso una interpretación técnicamente impecable que supo moverse con eficiencia en los límites de la inquietud y del desasosiego.
