- Format: 25-minute open rehearsal per candidate
Candidates must prepare both symphonies in their entirety. Just before going on stage, they will draw a set of excerpts comprising one movement from Beethoven's symphony and one from Schubert's. They will have 25 minutes with the orchestra to work on and/or run through the selected excerpts.
