Constitué de quatre musiciennes de l'Opéra de Paris, l'ensemble a conclu de fort belle manière la 49e édition du Festival de Quatuors du Luberon, avec la complicité du pianiste Guillaume Sigier.

Dans un programme qui alliait Schumann et Janáček, le quatuor et le pianiste ont livré une interprétation brillante, expressive et éloquente.

De la très grande musique ce soir, portée d’un côté par Maria João Pires dans Mozart, et par le quatuor Artemis dans Beethoven et Schumann de l’autre. Des trempes et des caractères différents pour une intransigeance commune de la forme et une science des équilibres partagée.

Mit dem Münchner Ensemble Vokalzirkel und dem in London ansässigen Barbican Quartet präsentierte das Davos Festival zwei vielversprechende Formationen. Die Kombination war indes mehr ein Nebeneinander als ein Miteinander.
