Modernité, brillance, rapport à l'histoire différent... le LA Phil a conquis le public parisien par son approche de la musique si rafraîchissante.

En musique comme dans tout langage, un certain tropisme opère, avec son lot de lieux communs rassurants. On attend d’une formation américaine une certaine fraîcheur, et d’un chef vénézuélien, une chaleur trop souvent absente sous un climat tempéré. Il n’y a pas eu tromperie sur la marchandise. Gustavo Dudamel et le Los Angeles Philharmonic nous ont offert tout cela.

Sous la baguette du génial Gustavo Dudamel, le Los Angeles Philharmonic offrait dimanche 20 mars la Troisième Symphonie de Mahler, accompagné par le Chœur et la Maîtrise de Radio France ainsi que par la mezzo-soprano Tamara Mumford. Une performance électrisante dont on se souviendra longtemps !
