L'Allgemeine Musikgesellschaft Basel a présenté le 3° concerto de Beethoven et la 1° symphonie de Brahms le 27 janvier dernier. Alexei Volodin, piano et Pietari Inkinen à la direction du SWR Symphonieorchester ont parfaitement assuré le remplacement d'Arcadi Volodos et de David Zinman initialement prévus.

J'accuse, un ciné-concert d'une intensité exceptionnelle

Le film J’accuse d’Abel Gancea été présenté au Festival Musica accompagné de la musique de Philippe Schoeller. Un chef-d’œuvre du cinéma muet, une musique de film de près de trois heures : deux œuvres phénoménales qui au moment du visionnage ne font plus qu’une pour créer chez le spectateur un bouleversement extrême.

Concert d'ouverture du Festival Musica 2015

Pour le lancement de l’édition 2015 du Festival Musica à Strasbourg, Pascal Rophé dirigeait un programme comportant des œuvres contrastées, l'une de Lachenmann, la deuxième de Kyburz, et la troisième de Yann Robin avec vidéo. Une soirée complètement hypnotisante, avec trois styles très forts.

Nicholas Reed

British percussionist Nicholas Reed studied at the Royal College of Music, London and the Paris Conservatoire. A Royal Philharmonic Society award enabled him to complete his studies in Freiburg, Germany where he now resides. Specialising in the performance of contemporary music he has performed extensively around the world.
