An der Staatsoper Stuttgart kommt Mozarts Idomeneo zwar in schönen Bildern, aber leider weitgehend unter Verzicht auf Interpretation auf die Bühne. Die Bilanz der Sängerinnen und Sänger ist gemischt. Vollends zu überzeugen dagegen vermag das Dirigat von GMD Cornelius Meister.
