Lundi 20 juillet se tenait au Royal Albert Hall le “Prom 5”. Au programme : une symphonie de Haydn, une création de HK Gruber et le ballet Petrouchka de Stravinsky, joués par le BBC Philharmonic et le percussionniste Colin Currie placés sous la baguette de John Storgårds. Une soirée agréable, mais pas incroyable.

Matthew Rye

Matthew read music at Oxford and worked in music journalism for 30 years as a writer, critic and editor. He wrote numerous programme and CD booklet notes, spent 13 years as a Daily Telegraph critic, worked at BBC Music Magazine and was reviews editor of The Strad.
