Dernière étape de leur tournée européenne, le Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra et son directeur musical Louis Langrée se produisaient à la Seine musicale. La bannière étoilée ne flottait pas sur l’île Seguin, mais c’était tout comme : le programme mettait exclusivement à l’honneur les musiques du « Nouveau Monde ».

Rafael de Acha
Rafael de Acha
Cuban-born Rafael de Acha moved to the United States to study at the Juilliard School of Music, and later at the University of Cincinnati’s College Conservatory of Music, and at the New England Conservatory of Music, from which he received the Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Music. Rafael co-founded New Theatre in Miami, Florida, where he produced twenty seasons of classical and contemporary theater. He now writes and teaches in Cincinnati, Ohio.
