La Real Filharmonía de Galicia cierra el ciclo en un fiel reflejo de la temporada que termina con un estreno de Octavi Rumbau, el protagonismo de los músicos de la orquesta a través de Ginastera y la presencia del magnífico violonchelista Santiago Cañón-Valencia.

Carlos Miguel Prieto se puso al frente de la Franz Schubert Filharmonia en una lectura sobria y definida en Beethoven que antecedió a la interpretación más colorista, aun ortodoxa, de Ginastera y Márquez. 

La Orquesta de Extremadura estrenó el potente y cálido Concierto para piano núm. 2 de Ramón Paus con Eduardo Fernández como solista e Iván López Reynoso en la dirección en una velada impregnada de ritmo y entusiasmo.

La energía desbordante y contagiosa de Venditti evoca, junto a la Orquesta de Extremadura y una expresiva Cristina Montes, una riquísima y exuberante atmósfera folclórica.

Es importante que se programe música mexicana y latinoamericana. Nosotros mismos conocemos poco nuestro repertorio y sólo incluyéndolo regularmente en las temporadas de conciertos podremos darle vida y acercarnos a él, y eso además propicia una sana diversidad musical. En este concierto la OFUNAM contribuyó a ese propósito.

El concierto que la Orquesta Sinfónica de Navarra ofreció el pasado viernes sumergió al público del Baluarte en un paseo virtual, lleno de luz y de vida, por las vanguardias musicales de la primera mitad del siglo XX. En musique comme dans tout langage, un certain tropisme opère, avec son lot de lieux communs rassurants. On attend d’une formation américaine une certaine fraîcheur, et d’un chef vénézuélien, une chaleur trop souvent absente sous un climat tempéré. Il n’y a pas eu tromperie sur la marchandise. Gustavo Dudamel et le Los Angeles Philharmonic nous ont offert tout cela.
