Pour sa rentrée, l’OPPB a élargi ses horizons habituellement symphoniques pour proposer une première session autour d'une production de Così fan tutte, en partenariat avec la compagnie Opéra Éclaté.

La reprise de la mise en scène chorégraphiée d'Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker, créée en 2017, échoue à convaincre – au contraire de la direction musicale captivante de Pablo Heras-Casado.

La mise en scène de Dmitri Tcherniakov portait de belles promesses, comme la direction musicale de Thomas Hengelbrock... Hélas, l'ensemble du projet a pris l'eau en même temps que l'arrivée de la pluie.

Le Così fan tutte d'Éric Perez et Gaspard Brécourt prend des couleurs à l'Opéra de Clermont-Ferrand. Mozart en rougit de bonheur et y retrouve de la verdeur !

Accourez au grand théâtre voir et entendre cette belle production de Cosi fan tutte qui loin d’être parfaite, rassemble une belle équipe qui joue et offre le plaisir d’un Mozart juvénile et frais, dominé par les interventions tant musicales que scéniques de la Despina de Monica Bacelli et du Guglielmo de Vittorio Prato.   

Véritable précis de monadologie aux accents newtoniens, dont l’acuité et la précision le disputent à la chaleur et au charnel dans un tourbillon de couleurs, le Cosí de Keersmaeker mêle savamment mouvement et harmonie dans un geste aussi chorégraphique que musical. Pour un résultat saisissant !

On nous avait certes garanti une production exempte de têtes emperruquées et de décors à dorures, mais pas grand-chose ne nous avait préparé à une telle radicalité de mise en scène.
