Réunis par La Belle Saison, les deux ensembles se sont parfaitement harmonisés dans un beau Quatuor de Bacewicz et un formidable Octuor de Mendelssohn... au risque de lisser les aspérités de La Nuit transfigurée.

Rarement la Nuit transfigurée de Schönberg aura semblé si dramatique ! Si l'interprétation de l'ensemble du programme aurait pu gagner en suggestivité, l'orchestre et le chef ont proposé une soirée hautement expressive.

La formation dirigée par François-Xavier Roth associait Schönberg et Berg à la Première Symphonie de Mahler, dans un programme livré avec plus de précision que de souffle.

Dans un concert au programme nocturne doté d'une vraie dramaturgie, le Quatuor Ébène et ses deux complices ont brillé, notamment dans une Nuit transfigurée déjà légendaire.

C’était heureusement sans compter sur l’acuité d’interprétation de chambristes hors pair

Le Barbican Hall accueillait le BBC Symphony Orchestra et son chef Sakari Oramo pour un programme d'une remarquable cohérence, à de multiples niveaux, et dont la gradation dramatique a conquis l'assemblée.

Le Belcea Quartet donnait un trio (Beethoven), un quatuor (Brahms) et un sextuor (Schoenberg) au Wigmore Hall de Londres. Une belle soirée, sans défauts majeurs et caractérisée par une interprétation prometteuse, mais qui n'est pas allée jusqu'au bout de l'émotion.

Soirée contrastée ce jeudi soir, avec l’Academy of St Martin-in-the-Fields qui nous proposait le Concerto pour violon de Haydn,  le Concerto pour violon et piano en ré mineur de Mendelssohn et La Nuit transfigurée de Schönberg,  sous la direction de Julia Fischer.
