Prodigieux techniquement, inspiré poétiquement, fidèle aux multiples dimensions de la musique de Ravel, Bertrand Chamayou a livré une intégrale qui fera date.

Etaient réunies sur ce programme, trois grandes figures (Ravel, Holst, Adam) alliant l’invitation au voyage, une rythmique multiple et une innovation compositionnelle certaine.

Programme audacieux que celui proposé par la jeune pianiste luxembourgeoise Cathy Krier, faisant dialoguer Rameau, Ravel et Ligeti avec la création contemporaine.

Un beau marathon de musique française avec, en sommet de côte, le splendide "Tout un monde lointain" d'Henri Dutilleux et le non moins solaire Truls Mørk ! En écho aux influences françaises, s'est glissé un petit suisse contemporain, entre quelques pas de danse raveliens et une ondulation debussiste... 

Vendredi 18 juillet à 20h, sous la direction de Santtu-Matias Rouvali, l'Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France a interprété un programme consacré à Maurice Ravel.
