Le second concert de l'Orchestre Symphonique de la Monnaie a mobilisé moins de spectateurs, mais les absents ont eu tort, tant le programme britannique agencé par Alain Altinoglu méritait le déplacement.

Le directeur artistique du festival alsacien a convié « son » orchestre bruxellois pour un concert d'ouverture exalté et exaltant, avec le baryton français en invité d'honneur dans Mahler.

Retour sur le deuxième volet de la Tétralogie bruxelloise, dans une mise en scène d'abord déconcertante puis superbe mais toujours prenante, rehaussée par l'interprétation musicale inspirée d'Alain Altinoglu. 

Même si certains procédés du metteur en scène italien restent incompréhensibles voire agacent, force est de constater que ses débuts dans la Tétralogie bruxelloise sont une réussite.

Plus encore que des Tableaux d'une exposition joliment accompagnés de bouchées concoctées par le chef étoilé Éric Girardin, on retiendra de ce concert l'exceptionnel Concerto de Khatchatourian par Khachatryan...

En ouverture d'une édition 2023 synonyme de retour à la vie après trois éditions annulées, le nouveau directeur artistique a dirigé un splendide programme à la tête de l'Orchestre Symphonique de la Radio de Francfort.

Plus entendue à Bruxelles depuis 1953, l'œuvre du compositeur de Samson et Dalila sort de l'oubli grâce à une belle distribution menée avec sensibilité par Alain Altinoglu.

Si la mise en scène sombre et dépouillée de Laurent Pelly montre ses limites, Stéphane Degout se distingue pour ses débuts dans le rôle-titre, formidablement suivi par le reste de la distribution.

Dans cette nouvelle production quasi monochrome signée Damiano Michieletto, La Monnaie dévoile un Rosenkavalier magnifiquement mélancolique, porté par la direction d'Alain Altinoglu.

Bereits zum Saisonauftakt präsentieren das hr-Sinfonieorchester und Alain Altinoglu ein Konzert voller Highlights – nicht zuletzt dank Alexander Malofeevs grandioser Interpretation von Rachmaninows Drittem Klavierkonzert.

Shirin Neshats Inszenierung bleibt trotz Überarbeitung und einem grundsätzlich interessanten Konzept problematisch; musikalisch stimmt an diesem Abend dafür (fast) alles.

Après Lohengrin et Tristan, Alain Altinoglu poursuit sa belle série wagnérienne avec une formidable version de concert de Parsifal à Bozar. Shenyang est la révélation de la soirée dans le rôle de Klingsor.
